Corey J. Sievers trained in gastroenterology and hepatology at MetroHealth medical center in Cleveland, Ohio. During his fellowship training he was the Chief gastroenterology fellow as selected by the staff at MetroHealth Gastroenterology department. He has expertise is general gastroenterology including; colon cancer screening, GERD, dysphagia, peptic ulcer disease, crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis. He has a particular interest in liver diseases including: hepatitis c, hepatitis b, autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, and fatty liver disease. He is trained to perform endoscopies including: upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy. He is trained to perform endoscopic band ligation, dilations, polypectomy and control of acute bleeding of the GI tract.
