Artificial Intelligence (AI) Service

Strengthen your CT report

Choose our AI solutions

Early Detection

AI facilitates early detection of findings correlated with chronic disease and can promote timely medical intervention leading to improved health outcomes.

Use your existing CT images

AI helps identify patients at risk of chronic conditions without a need for discrete imaging before they become symptomatic using CTs you already obtained.

Hidden findings

AI brings added value by empowering clinicians in identification and categorization of subclinical disease giving you peace of mind.

Nanox.AI Solutions

Can help Identify findings correlated with chronic diseases

AI Cardiac Solution - Coronary Calcium Detection
FDA CLEARED | CE
Nanox Ai
nanox solutions

Detects coronary artery calcification in chest CTs, a significant risk factor for coronary artery disease.

Cardiovascular Disease: Early detection and preventative treatment can reduce heart attacks and save lives.

Coronary artery disease accounts for 50% of cardiovascular deaths*.

Atherosclerotic disease is often asymptomatic.

In 30-50% of reported cases, an acute myocardial infarction is the first sign of CVD

Proven results
Nanox.AI’s cardiac solution detected moderate or severe coronary artery calcium in about 40% of the populations studies and approximately 60% of those patients who were previously undiagnosed.

AI Bone Solution - Spinal Analysis
FDA CLEARED | CE1
Nanox Ai
nanox CT scans

Helps identify vertebral compression fractures & low bone mineral density in chest and abdominal CT scans.

Osteoporosis Disease: Early detection of low bone mineral density and vertebral compression fractures can prompt treatment and prevent physical deterioration.

54M Americans aged 50 and above either already have or are at risk of osteoporosis2.

Hip fractures account for more disability, adjusted life, years lost, than breast cancer, prostate cancer, arthritis and Parkinson’s disease combined.

Proven results
When Nanox.AI’s bone solution (HealthVCF) detected vertebral compression fractures, it found that more than 50% of those fractures were not originally reported.

Nanox AI software yields six-fold increase in spine fracture identification.

1 For the EU/UK, HealthVCF solution is available to identify vertebral compression fractures only.
2 The National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF)

AI Liver Solution - Liver Attenuation Measurement
FDA CLEARED
Nanox Ai

Nanox.AI’s unique and pioneering algorithm uses abdominal and chest CTs to highlight liver density measurements. Low liver density is suggestive of fatty liver disease.

Fatty Liver Disease: Early detection and treatment may reduce complications while the situation is still reversible.

The Global prevalence of fatty liver disease is 25% and is considered a “silent” global pandemic*.

Prolonged high levels of fat in the liver can progress to Fibrosis, Metabolic Dysfunction-associated Steatohepatitis (MASH) and later on Cirrhosis.

Our Goal
Nanox.AI’s algorithm aims to promote early detection of fatty liver diseases, thus promoting further evaluation and treatment aiming to reverse the disease process and mitigating its consequences

AI's Role in Prediction and Prevention

Unlocking tomorrow’s health

Artificial intelligence has increasingly played a role in medical diagnosis by augmenting the capabilities of healthcare professionals.

AI does not mean that your health is in the hands of machine. To the contrary. AI intended to highlight the findings and provide healthcare professionals with insights that empower them in their diagnostics and help them take proactive measures for disease prevention.

The goal of integrating Nanox.AI solutions into radiology workflows is to provide the ability to use AI to highlight and help identify patients with asymptomatic undetected chronic disease, initiating earlier diagnosis and preventative management.

FAQ

Find answers to your questions

1. AI in Second Opinions - how does it work?

Second Opinions offers AI review for chest and abdominal CT scans only, utilizing Nanox.AI technology. If your second opinion involves a review of radiology images from a chest or abdominal CT, we recommend considering our Nanox.AI service and selecting the AI option.

Please note that Nanox.AI review is conducted only when we deem your CT scans appropriate, and the AI report complements the review performed by a clinician. Whenever AI is utilized, you will receive a section in the report. Notice that these AI findings undergo a thorough review by a physician and are approved prior to reporting. The report includes recommendations for the next step – work up or treatment

2. What types of medical images can the AI analyze?

The AI solution leverages abdominal and chest CT scans to identify findings that can be correlated with chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver disease, and osteoporosis, to help improve patient care.

3. Does the AI cover a wide range of medical specialties or focus on specific areas?

The AI solution can evaluate chest and abdominal CT scans only

4. How long does it typically take to receive the AI results?

Adding the AI result does not prolong the time to receive the Second Opinions report. Generally, you will receive your report within 48 hours after we successfully receive your images. Complex reports might take up to 5 business days. However, in special cases, it might take longer, and you will be updated by our support team.

5. Are there any certifications or approvals obtained for the AI technology used?

Nanox’s AI solutions have received FDA 510(k) clearance. The AI cardiac solution detects coronary artery calcification, a major risk factor for coronary artery disease, from routine chest CT scans. The AI bone solution detects vertebral compression fractures and low bone mineral density, key warning signs of osteoporosis, from routine chest and abdominal CT scans. The AI liver solution analyzes the liver attenuation from routine chest and abdominal CT scans to ultimately help detect early signs of liver disease, including metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).
