Dr. Murtaza (Mort) Rizvi is a Plastic, Craniofacial and Hand Surgeon. He practices at Huntington Orthopedics and the Division of Plastic Surgery at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Rizvi conducted his medical school education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a General Surgery Residency at the University of Maryland, where he trained at the world famous Shock Trauma Center. After completing General Surgery, Dr. Rizvi completed three fellowships. He joined the Department of Orthopedics at USC to complete a Hand and Microsurgical Fellowship. Then went on the complete a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Methodist Hospital of the Cornell Weill Medical College at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Dr. Rizvi then went on to complete his last fellowship at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery. Dr. Rizvi is board certified in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Surgery of the Hand, and the American Association of Hand Surgery.
