A sports medicine physician must have knowledge and experience in the promotion of wellness and the prevention of injury. Knowledge about special areas of medicine such as exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, psychology, physical rehabilitation, epidemiology, physical evaluation, injuries, and the role of exercise in promoting a healthy life style are essential to the practice of sports medicine. The sports medicine physician requires special education to provide knowledge to improve the health care of the individual engaged in physical exercise.

Orthopedics Osteoporosis Sleep Management Moshe is an Ivy Leagued-trained doctor who is board-certified in physiatry and subspecializes in pain management. He is also an experienced Beverly Hills expert medical witness and legal IME professional with extensive medical case file review experience. He currently serves as a Physiatrist and CEO at the Golden Gate Institute for for Integrative Health Care, which is a multidisciplinary group that focuses on treatment and natural approaches to health and pain. Moshe formally served as a Pain Management Specialist at Spine Care, a specialized group focusing on improving the quality of life for patients that have back pain. He also serves as a Physiatrist at the St. Luke's Campus of California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He is currently on the Speakers Bureau for the National Arthritis Foundation. He lectures widely on topics such as Osteoporosis, Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. Moshe is the former VP of Operations - Patient Safety Initiatives at NASA, as well as the former Risk Management Director at Kaiser Permanente.
