Dr. Peng brings her extensive experience in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neurodevelopment research to the practice of pediatric neurology. Dr. Peng earned her medical degree from Fu-Dan University (co-education program with University of Kansas), followed by a Ph.D. in neurogenetics and molecular biology from University of Kansas in Kansas City. She then went on to complete postdoctoral research fellowship in mammalian neurodevelopment at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Peng fulfilled her pediatric and pediatric neurology residencies at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology.
Dr. Peng’s clinical areas of interest are in epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders and complex neurophysiological conditions as well as performing NCS/EMG in children. Dr. Peng has been an author of numerous studies and abstracts in national and international neuroscience and research journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Memberships
